Lyrics

Wake Up Song of the Space Pirate Queen

Into the flash of a quivery, shivery star
Wake up my darlings
Our destination’s not far.
Some people said there’s no future in space touristry
But they were short-sighted
And they had not reckoned on me.

Now we sail
With a ginormous wing on a windless stellar gale
And we hide
In plain sight
In a disconcertingly empty sky.

And what will we find in the dark and the cold and the lost?
It’s something that everyone wants
But especially your boss.
We’ll pillage and plunder by light of that quivery star
So gather your weapons prepare to become the bête noire.
(Instrumental with ahhs)

Now we sail
With a ginormous wing on a windless stellar gale.
And we hide
In plain sight
In a disconcertingly empty sky.

Some people said there’s no future in space piracy.
But they were short-sighted
And they had not reckoned on me.
